The Kentucky Environmental Quality Commssion unveiled this new design for its Web site on January 17, 2006. The new site is best viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 or above with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 (See Changing Your Screen Resolution for help). MacIntosh users should visit Microsoft's Mac Download site for information about upgrading their browsers.

Some of what was on our old Web site is no longer here, because some of the previous site's content was outdated or we have not had the time to update it for the new content management system. 
 

This new site is fully accessible to people with visual impairments, as required by the federal Americans with Disabilities Act. We have also implemented an entirely new content management system that is going to help us keep everything on the site up to date. This will ensure that you have the most current information available any time you visit this site.
 

The new site features several tools we believe accomplish this goal. Among them are a powerful search engine that is available at the top of every page and a new navigation menu that expands to show what lies beneath each main category.

We hope you agree that the new site is more user-friendly than the old site. Again, you will need to revise any hyperlinks and bookmarks that led to the old site.
