Schedule

Each year the EQC commissioners meet to set goals and a meeting schedule for the upcoming fiscal year. Updates to this schedule are provided on the Web site and through news releases.  

The annual meeting for the 2007/2008 fiscal year was held Aug. 8-9, 2007, at the Carter Caves State Resort Park.  The commissioners decided to focus on water related issues for meetings for the following year.  The focus topics, important subtopics, meeting dates and general locations are provided below.

  • Triennial review (tentatively scheduled for Sept. 26, 2007 - Bowling Green)
  • Stormwater (tentatively scheduled for Nov. 14, 2007 - Lexington)
  • Surface water (tentatively scheduled for Jan. 23, 2008 - northern Kentucky)
    • TMDL update
    • Watershed issues
  • Follow-up meeting (tentatively scheduled for May 28, 2008 - location to be determined)
    • Focus topic to remain tentative until the commissioners determine what issues need more focused review.
    • Meeting may include new topics that may come to the forefront over the course of the fiscal year.
